On January 25, 2026, Edgewood Missionary Baptist Church met for the last time. The body of saved, baptized believers working together to serve the Lord Jesus Christ for over 40 years voted to disband the assembly.

Brother Jeff Barron, the former pastor of Edgewood Missionary Baptist Church, was born July 27, 1952 in Inglewood, California and was promoted to glory on March 5, 2025 at the age of 72.
Edgewood Missionary Baptist Church is a self-governing, independent local body whose only head is the Lord Jesus Christ. The church fellowships with like-minded churches in the Faith for the purpose of cooperating in mission work and church edification. However, the associations do not have any authority over this or any other church.
